All About Therapy

Individualized Intervention and Support

Everyone needs help sometimes. Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, or social interactions? Do you need help making changes in your social, romantic, professional, or academic life? Are you simply feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of life? Do you need someone who will listen to you and understand your experience? Someone to collaborate with you to develop workable solutions that fit your life? If any of these questions resonate with you, I can offer practical tools as well as a safe space to share and reflect.

Specialties

My primary area of specialty is autism, more specifically, helping neurodiverse adults and adolescents achieve their goals. I have specialized in working with individuals on the autism spectrum for more than 10 years and value neurodiverse perspectives. My goal is not to “fix” you - you are not broken! I aim to facilitate understanding in order to expand your options and opportunities. In addition to autism, I also have experience with Anxiety disorders (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, etc), OCD, Tic Disorders, ADHD, Depression, and Trauma.

I can help with social skills, emotion regulation, and executive functioning (e.g. organization, planning). My methods are primarily cognitive-behavioral, and I also tend to integrate mindfulness practices. I generally take an active, goal-oriented approach, and work best with clients who are motivated and ready to make meaningful change in their lives. I have also worked closely with parents, offering support for parenting stress, as well as tools and strategies for managing behavioral challenges.

Please note, therapy services are currently being offered exclusively via telehealth.
